Sonoma's summer is set to come alive with the return of the beloved Sonoma Sundays on the Plaza, a free concert series that transforms the historic Grinstead Amphitheater into a vibrant hub of live music every Sunday from June 7 through October 4, 2026.

Presented by Music in Place in partnership with the City of Sonoma, this series offers an eclectic mix of musical genres, ensuring there's something for every taste.

Attendees can look forward to performances ranging from blues and jazz to Americana and swing, all set against the picturesque backdrop of Sonoma Plaza.

The 2026 lineup boasts an impressive array of artists:

On June 7, the Cabanijazz Project kicks off the series with their electrifying salsa rhythms.

June 21 features Tommy Thomsen & the Ambassadors of Western Swing, bringing classic swing tunes to the Plaza.

On June 28, Alabama Mike delivers soulful blues melodies.

July 5 showcases Dirty Cello with their unique twist on pop and rock.

July 12 presents Heidi Evelyn and the Savoy Sweethearts, capturing the essence of Tin Pan Alley to Broadway.

July 19 features the MIP All Stars, celebrating the Great American Songbook.

August 2 brings the Huney Knuckles, known for their funk and fusion.

August 9 showcases the Tim Weed Trio & The Dorian Mode, offering Americana favorites.

August 16 features Laurie Lewis with her bluegrass tunes.

August 23 presents Nicolas Bearde, delivering velvet-voiced jazz.

August 30 brings Marcos Silva with Brazilian Bossa Nova and Samba.

September 6 features Sascha Jacobsen & Mark St. Mary, blending tango and zydeco.
