The funds came from two distinct efforts. During the DENSO NHRA Sonoma Nationals, a charity karting event brought together drag racing stars — including Tony Stewart, Antron Brown, Leah Pruett, Angelle Sampey, and Austin Prock — alongside fans for a friendly, fundraising competition. The very next weekend, ticket sales from the Ferrari Challenge North America event added to the total. The combined haul will be distributed through the organization's annual grant program, which funds local nonprofits focused on improving children's lives. Grant applications are open through August 1 for eligible Sonoma County nonprofits.
